This is the new version of the previous model ToughSwitch TS-5-POE - all ToughSwitch products have been rebranded to EdgeSwitch. These are exactly the same products as the ToughSwitch models, but with a rebranded outer case, all internal components and functionality are exactly the same and remain unchanged.
The ES-5XP is a Carrier-Class, simple and reliable 5 port gigabit managed switch. The 5XP allows you to power up to 5 passive PoE 24V devices on a per port basis using a simplistic GUI, supporting all the features you want with none of the clutter. The ES-5 is well suited to smaller deployments and allows you to design cleaner, less cluttered deployments. Cutting out up to 5 PoE adaptors, 5 Power cords, 5 Power outlets and 5 patch cables.
